Once Upon A Time...

„Rock in all its aspects” that’s how a daily newspaper describes the style ofTribal. In September 2004 Mark Rossi (Guitar), Greg Bailey (Vocals), UrsMüller (Bass) and Andy “The Animal” Gantenbein (Drums) formed the bandand two weeks later they already had their first gig. After the demo version “Feed the Public” and the live bootleg “Live at C4 – the official bootleg” theyreleased their first studio album in November 2005.

With “Cardboard Heroes” the guys produced a varied rock album. Songslike “Feed the Public”, “Free” and “Daddy” let you know that Tribal understandtheir business. For the melancholic ballad “Daddy” they also produceda video clip.
Although they had very little production equipment and the fact that half ofthe album is nearly a live CD, there are lots of positive comments from thepress. Among others from the German print magazines “Heavy” and “Breakout”.
A couple of concerts in clubs and festivals were contested.

2007 the band came back with their promo single “Higher”. Again the pressspeaks of “first class rock music played on the highest level” (Sleaze-Metal.com). The theme song and the second one “Holy” are very expressive.
They reflect exactly what Tribal stands for: Emotional rock! Severalconcerts were followed by the release of “Higher”. The band played amongothers as support of Oni Logan (Lynch Mob).

In the end of 2008 after a very intensive pre-production the boys went to theEmpire Studios in Germany. They recorded their second Longplayer “Cornerof a circle” with Rolf Munkes (Razorback, Empire, Majesty) which willbe released on
11. September 2009.

The listener is going to wait for 13 powerfully produced rock songs. “Higher”is coming up in a new version as a digital single with two bonus tracks.Songs between anger and fragility”.

Once Upon A Time...

"Rock in all seinen Facetten" beschreibt eine Tageszeitung sehr treffend den Stil der Band, welche von Mark Rossi (Guitar), Greg Bailey (Vocals), Urs Müller (Bass) und Andy "The Animal" Gantenbein (Drums) im September 2004 aus der Taufe gehoben wird. Zwei Wochen später folgt bereits das erste Konzert.
Nach dem Demo "Feed The Public" und dem Live-Bootleg "Live at C4 – The Official Bootleg“, veröffentlichen "Tribal" im November 2005 das erste Studio-Album.

Mit „Cardboard Heroes“ legen die Jungs ein abwechslungsreiches Rockalbum vor. Darauf enthalten sind beispielsweise das hymnenhafte "Feed The Public", die melancholische Ballade "Daddy", zu der auch ein Videoclip produziert wird, und der Arena-Rock-Ohrwurm "Free". Trotz bescheidener Produktionsmittel und der Tatsache, dass das Album zur Hälfte eine Beinahe-Live-CD ist, gibt es vornehmlich positive Stimmen aus der Fachpresse. Unter anderem von den deutschen Printmagazinen "Heavy“ und "Breakout“. Einige Konzerte in Clubs und auf Festivals werden bestritten.

2007 meldet sich die Band mit ihrer Promo-Single "Higher“ zurück. Wiederum bedenkt die Fachpresse die Band mit Lob und spricht von „erstklassiger Rockmusik auf höchstem Niveau!“ (Sleaze-Metal.com). Der Titeltrack und der zweite Song "Holy“ sind wiederum sehr eingängig und sphärisch gehalten. Sie widerspiegeln das, wofür „Tribal“ steht: Emotional Rock! Diverse Konzerte folgen. Unter anderem spielt die Band als Support von Oni Logan (LynchMob).

Nach einer intensiven Vorproduktion verschlägt es die Jungs gegen Ende 2008 in die Empire Studios nach Deutschland, wo sie mit Rolf Munkes (Razorback, Empire, Majesty) ihren zweiten Longplayer "Corner Of A Circle“ aufnehmen, welcher nun am 11. September 2009 erscheint.

Den Hörer erwarten 13 eingängige, kraftvoll produzierte Songs, von welchen "Higher" in einer neuen Version als digitale Single mit drei Bonustracks erscheint. Im Klartext:
"Songs zwischen Wut und Zerbrechlichkeit!"

The Single - "Higher"

In addition to the album there’s also the digital EP “Higher”. Along the rock ballad in two versions,
