Biography
A virtual artist, singer-songwriter from Peterborough, UK.
I grew up
listening to artists like Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, and George Benson. I
love artists that sing with
feelings, because I believe that way you communicate with the soul.
However, I write and sing songs on
subjects I’ve experienced, about things I know, and stuffs I believe in.
My mum used to sing, and listening to her was a great inspiration and that made me want to learn.
I grew up as a teenager,
knowing I could paint, write songs , and sing them, but never had the
opportunity like most artist
to realise my musical talents until late. The idea of rejuvenating my
musical talents came at a school
career day. There and then ORJI was conceived, with the aim to edit all
songs written in the past,
record, re record, and release them. I love singing as it helps me douse
difficult situation and frustration.
In this debut single, Have you ever fallen in love? Orji
explores his style of writing trying to
figure out the meaning of love and life we live in. Unleashing, songs
inspired by love, loss and life, the
streets will better brace up for more soulful and rhythmic songs, as
Orji's bests are probably
about to come.
