Biography

2001
Noctem consolidates as an extreme metal band in April 2001. The band defines its ideals,based in the antithesis of the whole absurd human religions, misanthropy and cult to violence,destruction and death.

2002
Noctem records their first work “Unholy blood” which was commercialized for 2 years. Afterseveral formation changes the band continues their way making national level concerts andcomposing new tracks, totally immersed in the search of a more personal music style.

2004
The band commercializes for two years their live cd “live 2004” auto produced and recorded intheir natal city.

2007 / 2008
After the departure of two of their most ancient members a restructure takes place in the bandto later on carry out the record of the MCD “GOD AMONG SLAVES”. With the release of thiswork and the big success among the online press, advertising means and metal heads, thebands, with its new components, fulfills different promotional tours through the countryaccompanied in the Spanish stages by foreign bands like: INFERI (Arg), THE BAND APART(Sp), IMBRED (Sp), MOLESTIA (Pt), INQUISITION (USA) and more...

2008:
In 2008 the band signs with the musical seal NOISEHEAD RECORDS (AUSTRIA) and carries
out a promotional tour “NOCTEM EUROPEAN TOUR 08” where the band destroys the
European stages of Spain, Portugal, France, Andorra, UK, Belgium and Italy.

2009:
In January of 2009 the band records in the NOISEHEAD STUDIOS of Vienna their debut album“DIVINITY” which counts with the collaborations of CHRISTOS ANTONIOU (Septic flesh andChaos star) and of LEAL (Forever Slave). The album was released in April by the musical sealNOISEHEAD RECORDS in Europe and in May with RELAPSE RECORDS in the USA.The band performs different presentations in festivals and promotional tours of the album“DIVINITY” and some concerts with first level bands like MALEVOLENT CREATION (USA),
VOMITORY (SWEDEN), STIGMA (ITALY), CRIMSON FALLS(BELGIUM).
Noctem receives a brutal acceptation among the international press and the metal heads. Fewmonths after the album release Noctem figures in the nº18 of the top 20 Spanish bands recordsales of 2009,º 310 and nº 313 HEAVY ROCK (SPAIN)
