BIO:
Infinitus Mortus was
created out of a need to express the experiences in my life that I
cannot put into words. Being in and out of bands since
the age of 14, I always had to put aside my own creative input in order
to play my instrument the way I was told to. I was also put down when
trying to express creative ideas to other band members and made to feel
useless. During the end of 2007 and all of 2008, I went through the
worst time of my life, both musically and personally. To get my mind off
of what was happening, I started writing music for the very first time.
After the experiences of the last band I was in, I learned how NOT to
write music. I was so sick of playing to music that I had to feel my way
through. I wanted to bring theory, structure, and composition back into
music to have it make sense musically. Infinitus Mortus is my
retaliation to everyone who brought me down and made me feel like never
picking up an instrument again.
