Formed in late 2010 when Tommy Disfiger got
drunk, broke some guy's nose and met a lovely lady to spend
the night with. He also met a bassist by the name of Calvin
Swine on this alcohol-fuelled rampage.
Nursing a massive hangover the next day Tommy began to write
some riffs & mouth off over the top of them. Soon some songs
started to formulate into partially coherent structures.
What followed was a search for a drummer to complete this
abstract jigsaw. In early 2011 this search ended in a pub in
Derby with the addition of Ben Vermin.
So now Free Choice Paradigm are, as you read, recording
their debut EP called 'Scourge Of Old Ladies': a mixture of
Hard Rock riffage with caustic, mouthy lyrics and a dash of
humour.
The tracks here are pre-release previews
from this upcoming EP. We'll see when a date is finally set
for release but I wouldn't pay too much attention to it as
our band motto states:
WE PLAY BY OUR OWN RULES.
