Department of Correction is a Finest Quality Grindcore
band from Paris France.
They are 4 friends, Greg is singer (french, english,
bulgarian, ex Knocked Dawn singer), Florian plays guitar (15
years of studying classical guitar), Marc plays bass (ex
singer and bassist in Tröms) and Yohan plays drums (young 22
years old guy wishing to blast the metal planet).
Their songs are not about politics, sexisme or wathever.
Their songs are about the true way of life of everyone (they
have a job that they like and don't need to have some make up
to play live!).
They talk about food kamikazes, swimming pool of Paris,
Concert halls of the underground that they like (le Spa at
Genevilliers for exemple), and the no stress living in
general.
Their CD and promotion is all self produced but
they would
like to be helped by a label in order for them to concentrate
on music.
They would like to play live in the whole Europe, big or small
club.
