| Bodyface
is bringing back rock music. Tired of the apathetic/supersensitive
sensibilities of the emo and hipster bands dominating the
airwaves, lead singer/guitarist, Jared Kerr & drummer, Roger
El Asmar, decided go in the opposite direction. Bodyface
offers hooky and danceable songs in the tradition of early
90's rock: unapolagetically angry music for the masses.
Their debut album,
Bias (released on 09/22/10), has been garnering rave reviews
for its originality and raw power. Reminiscent of such
groups as Nirvana, the Pixies, and Radiohead, Bodyface is
far more than the sum of its influences.
In the summer of
2008, Bodyface embarked on a European tour which took them
to 6 different countries and exposed their music to a wide
audience that has continued to follow the band.
The band is quickly
gaining a reputation for their intense live performances and
their relentless dedication to their craft. They are already
hard at work on a new record and in the midst of planning a
West Coast tour in support of Bias.
